“Joe” @unluckyjosh: risk disclaimer, WEEX funnel

A Telegram host who posts “not financial advice” while steering you onto one exchange is still running a recruitment desk.

Channels in the style of “Joe” (@unluckyjosh) often open with a tidy disclaimer: nothing here is financial advice; you trade at your own risk. That sentence is cheap. What follows is the real product — pulling newcomers into active crypto trading on a venue the host prefers.

In this pattern the preferred desk has been WEEX, pushed hard enough that the practical goal looks like referral income rather than mentoring. Exchange affiliates are paid for sign-ups and volume. Your liquidations do not cancel their commission. WEEX’s own copy-trading materials stress that following another trader can still wipe capital through leverage, slippage and mismatched sizing — and that “elite” labels are not a guarantee. A random Telegram account has even less skin in your outcome.

How to check: if every call ends with “register here”, assume the link is the business. Open any exchange from the official site you typed yourself, ignore VIP upgrades sold in DMs, and treat profit screenshots as adverts. Risk text in a bio does not make the funnel safe; it only makes the operator harder to pin down later.
