TrendUp (trendup.pro) and similar trading schools often open with a free booklet: “spot the market direction in four out of five cases”, “+10–50% a month”, a handful of indicators that supposedly close most trades in profit. That is not how durable trading works for beginners. Short lucky streaks exist; selling them as a normal monthly expectation is sales copy.
The funnel is familiar. You trade a name, phone number and email for the PDF. Privacy policies on these sites commonly allow marketing and affiliate sharing. The freebie softens you for paid cohorts while the numbers on the page do the heavy lifting — speed, certainty, beginner-friendly systems — with little visible talk of how often retail traders lose money.
None of this requires inventing a crime story. Check the claims: would a regulated firm be allowed to advertise those percentages to retail clients where you live? Is there a public, third-party verified track record, or only screenshots? Prefer free education from a broker you already trust for custody — and treat any “method” that needs your mobile number before it explains risk as a lead magnet, not a licence.
