TorForex rankings: five stars before the fee email

A “verified” trader board can be the shop window — the deposit freeze and commission invoice arrive later.

Sites such as torforex.com present themselves as independent ranking portals: trader leaderboards, hundreds of “reviews”, blue ticks and scores brushing 4.9. One reported path starts there, continues into a private Telegram group and ends with a dashboard that prints profits until withdrawal needs a commission, an ICO top-up or a freeze fee. The review site’s own methodology is opaque — “verified by user votes” is not the same as audited track records or a licensed investment firm.

A quick look at the shop window matters. Long, keyword-stuffed URLs, identical praise across many profiles and a top tier that somehow always looks profitable are marketing, not due diligence. If a portal also claims partnership with the very traders it ranks — complete with fantasy monthly returns — treat it as advertising with a scoreboard skin.

How to check the next tip instead of the next star rating: search the exact Telegram handle with “scam” and regulator warnings; never borrow money to chase a bonus percentage; refuse any payout that needs an upfront crypto fee; keep your own exchange account and never hand remote-access or seed phrases to a “mentor”. Absence of bad press on day one is not a safety certificate.
