Telegram “wholesale” shops that vanish after prepayment

Glossy product photos and below-market prices are not a warehouse — they are bait for a transfer you will never reverse.

The pattern is almost boring. A Telegram channel posts crisp photos of perfume, gadgets, tobacco, toys or “customs seized” stock. Reviews look busy. Prices undercut every normal retailer. Payment is asked up front — card-to-card, crypto, or a messenger “manager” who switches accounts mid-deal. After the money moves, delivery stalls, the chat goes quiet, or a new handle appears with the same catalogue.

Handles rotate. Some pose as perfume outlets, cigarette “houses”, Apple resellers or bulk toy wholesalers. The brand on the avatar is disposable; the ask is always the same: pay first, argue later.

How to check without overthinking it. Prefer marketplaces with buyer protection you already understand. If the only shopfront is a Telegram channel, treat prepayment as a gift. Ask for a trackable invoice from a real legal entity — and verify that entity independently, not via a PDF the seller sends. Never send seed phrases or “verification” crypto to unlock a parcel that does not exist.

If you already paid, keep the chat export, wallet or bank references, and report through the routes on our help pages rather than hiring the next “collector” who found you in the same chat.
