“Shall we meet?” Telegram posts that funnel you to bots

Channels that post “dating” photos with Write / Call / Undress buttons are usually traffic funnels into bots — not introductions to real people.

A large Telegram channel can look like a dating board: polished photos, first names, soft invitations to “write if you are free this evening”. Under each card sit the same green buttons — Write, Call, and, the tell, Undress. There is no personal account to verify, no city, almost nothing you could check. You are not messaging Amina or Anna; you are being handed to a prepared bot chain.

Between the “profiles”, the same channel may advertise “bots for meeting girls”, “send one photo — get 18+ photo and video”, or similar adult generators. That is the business model: sexy stock imagery as clickbait, then monetisation through paid generations, Stars, forced joins or whatever the bot sells next. Huge subscriber counts with tiny view numbers are another odd signal — not proof of fraud by themselves, but they fit a recycled or inflated audience better than an active community.

The Undress button is not flirtation. Tools that turn an ordinary photo into a sexualised deepfake are a form of image-based abuse when used without consent; regulators such as Australia’s eSafety Commissioner treat non-consensual sexual deepfakes as abuse. They also feed sextortion: once a synthetic nude exists, the threat to publish it does not need a real intimate photo.

How to check: if you cannot open a real person’s profile and the post sells bots next to “dates”, leave. Do not upload your photo — or anyone else’s — and do not pay for the unlock.
