RC Group: IT licences that sell like a pyramid

RC Group markets IT products and “partnership” licences — the risk is paying upfront to recruit, often with borrowed money.

RC Group presents itself as an IT business: software tools, payment-adjacent products, and a path to earn by bringing in new partners. The sales language sounds corporate — briefings, “leaders”, franchise-style access — and that packaging is half the trap. You are not buying a quiet desk job. You are buying a seat in a recruitment ladder.

A quick look at open reporting shows why caution is warranted. Local police in several places have opened fraud investigations tied to the firm’s model: people were urged to pay for partnership or licence access, often through consumer credit, then found the promised income depended on recruiting others rather than on a clear product sale. Company statements have insisted the model is multilevel marketing around a real IT product, not a pyramid. Investigations are not the same as a final court verdict, but they are enough to treat the pitch as high-risk until proven otherwise.

The practical checks are simple. Who pays you if you never recruit? Can you use the software without a downline? Is anyone walking you into a loan application on the spot? Demand a written contract, a refund path, and independent confirmation that the product exists for end customers who are not also “partners”. A friend who already “cashed out” is not due diligence — they may still be higher on the same ladder.

If the meeting ends with pressure to borrow for a licence, walk away. Keep messages, payment receipts and recruiter details if you already paid.
