Fake “Manpower” visa chats: the real firm already warned you

A Telegram “Manpower” contract with faxed stamps is not how a major staffing group places workers abroad.

Readers have been sent “work visa” paperwork by people claiming to represent Manpower, complete with invitations and contracts that look stamped — until you notice the seals are facsimiles and the only live channel is a Telegram handle built around the company name and number.

Manpower UK Limited is a real, long-standing temporary employment agency on the UK Companies House register (company number 03841918, Uxbridge). That fact is exactly why impostors borrow it. ManpowerGroup UK has published its own warnings: scam accounts on social apps and messaging platforms pose as Manpower UK, Experis and sister brands, push fake jobs, and try to harvest personal data or payments. Sister brand Experis has flagged WhatsApp and Telegram recruiters using the Manpower name the same way.

A genuine staffing process does not start with an unknown Telegram admin asking you to pay for document packing, travel “slots” or visa insurance off-platform. Facsimile signatures on a PDF are not proof of engagement. Look up the branch through the official ManpowerGroup site, use the contact details published there, and ignore any chat that cannot be mirrored on a verified corporate channel.

If you already sent money or passport scans, stop further payments and use the reporting routes on the help pages.
