Hash Hedge markets itself as a cryptocurrency proprietary-trading desk: pay for a challenge in stablecoins, hit profit and loss targets on the firm’s terminal, then keep a cut of “funded” profits. The pitch is familiar across prop brands — “we put up the capital, you trade” — and the site’s own materials talk about one- and two-stage evaluations, daily loss caps and USDT payouts. That framing can describe a real commercial product. It can also describe a funnel that lives mainly on challenge fees.
A quick company check is more useful than another influencer clip. Companies House records show HASH HEDGE LTD (company number 14509757) as dissolved on 4 March 2025 after a compulsory strike-off. Terms on the live site have pointed instead to an Empower Academy Ltd entity in the United Arab Emirates; independent confirmation of that registration in open UAE registries is thin. PropRadar and similar aggregators have flagged payout and disclosure risk rather than treating the brand as a verified desk. None of that is a court verdict — it is enough to ask who would answer a dispute if a payout stalls.
Crypto-only fees and crypto-only withdrawals also shrink the usual consumer levers (chargebacks, clear banking rails). Referral traffic from trading channels does not replace a verifiable operator, published rules you can archive, and proof that funded accounts and payouts exist beyond marketing totals.
Before you buy any challenge, search the legal name on the registry the firm claims, save the terms on the day you pay, and treat the first small payout — if it arrives — as the only evidence that matters. If the story needs secrecy, a rush deposit, or a second “unlock” fee after you pass, walk away.
