Fake Revolut support on Telegram is not your bank

The real Revolut lives at revolut.com and inside its app — not in a stranger’s chat handle.

Revolut is a real financial-services firm. Its public site is revolut.com, and customers are steered to help through the in-app chat (Profile → Help → Support). The company publishes its own fraud pages: it will not ask you to move money to a “safe account”, read back one-time codes, or fix an urgent problem via an unsolicited Telegram bot. Clone domains and lookalike handles exist precisely because the brand is trusted.

A common pattern looks like this: a message about a currency conversion “successfully changed”, a Revolut logo, and a button that opens a Telegram account such as a “Revolut Centre” or “Revolut Bank Support”. From there the script is familiar — verify the payment, unlock the account, send a small fee, share a code. None of that is how licensed support works.

Fake Telegram message impersonating Revolut support after a currency conversion

Type the address yourself, open the official app, and ignore any support that found you first on a messenger. If a call or chat claims to be Revolut and it was not arranged inside the app, hang up and check there. Branding is cheap; a genuine session inside your own app is not.
