Delegate Advisors, LLC is a real United States investment adviser visible in SEC/IAPD materials (including CRD and SEC adviser numbers used in public filings). That fact is exactly why impostors like the name. A CIK or registration figure quoted in a chat is an EDGAR identifier, not a “crypto wallet number”, and Form ADV-style disclosures describe multi-family office and fund-advisory work with assets at independent custodians — not a retail on-chain wallet product.
If a messenger claims the firm will host or recover your coins, verify using contacts published in the firm’s own brochure or the SEC’s adviser search — numbers you looked up, not numbers pasted in Telegram. Genuine advisers do not cold-pitch seed phrases, gas fees or “wallet activation” deposits. Name theft is common after broker losses; treat the brand as a costume until the official channel confirms otherwise.
If this already cost you money, start at Get help. For paid “recovery” after a first loss, read Fake recovery.
