Cryptorttmbot: Telegram “free ETH” that needed your friends

A Telegram bot promised daily Ether scraps; the maths only worked if you kept inviting people.

Cryptorttmbot was sold as effortless Ethereum income inside Telegram: tap for a daily bonus, watch a balance grow, withdraw when you hit the threshold. Public posts from 2021 described signup credits, daily “szabo” drips, extra coins for each invite, and a cut of referrals’ bonuses. The withdrawal floor sat high enough that solo tapping could take many months — unless you dragged a crowd in behind you.

That is not mining and not trading. It is a faucet-shaped recruitment game. Early forum cheerleaders praised “it pays”; the same corners of the web later reused the same users to push adjacent airdrop bots and other deposit-for-upgrade schemes. There was no transparent team, white paper, or regulated entity in the indexed trail — only referral links and copy-paste ads that kept resurfacing years after the hype cooled.

How to check the next bot with a similar smile: read the withdrawal minimum against the daily drip; if you need a village of invites to cash out, you are the product. Never send Ether “to upgrade” an account. Never share seed phrases with a bot that claims to multiply coins. If a stranger later offers to recover a stuck Cryptorttmbot balance for a fee, treat that as a second scam.
