“Center Blockchain” mail from an Outlook address

An @outlook.com address with “blockchain” in the local part is not corporate mail from Blockchain.com.

Someone writing from [email protected] under a Center Blockchain label is not proving anything except that free webmail still exists. Blockchain.com tells users that official mail ends on its own domains such as @blockchain.com and @blockchain.info (plus related transactional hosts listed in its support centre). Consumer @outlook.com is not on that list.

The usual script matches every other fake-support desk: pay a tax or “gas” fee to release coins, open a “safe” wallet, share a seed phrase, install remote access. Blockchain.com also warns that it does not cold-call you into paid “crypto recovery”. Treat unsolicited blockchain-flavoured Outlook mail as hostile. Open the real site from a bookmark if you need support; never follow a stranger’s payment instructions to “unfreeze” a balance you cannot see on-chain yourself.

If this already cost you money, start at Get help. For paid “recovery” after a first loss, read Fake recovery.
