How many bitcoin are mined each month?

After the 2024 subsidy cut, the network issues on the order of 13,500 BTC in a 30-day stretch — not a private dashboard’s “hashrate”.

Bitcoin finds a block about every ten minutes by design. That is roughly 144 blocks a day, or about 4,320 blocks in a 30-day month. Since the April 2024 halving, the block subsidy has been 3.125 BTC. Multiply those figures and you get about 13,500 BTC of new issuance per month, or around 450 BTC per day. Block times wobble a little with difficulty, so the real month is not a perfect flat line — but the order of magnitude is fixed by the protocol, not by a sales deck.

That supply is earned by whoever actually mines on the network. It is not a pool of “contracts” waiting in a website balance. Cloud-mining and “daily ROI mining” sites often quote huge personal payouts while the whole chain only creates a few hundred coins a day. If a cabinet promises you a slice that ignores electricity, difficulty and the global hashrate, you are looking at a recruitment ledger. For that pattern, see Cloud mining “passive income”.

Until the next subsidy cut (expected around 2028), monthly issuance stays near that 13,500 BTC band. Treat any offer that “mines” faster than the chain itself as fiction with a deposit button.
